Do you want to play a key role in shaping the digital commercial engine of one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies? Are you passionate about CRM platforms, omnichannel strategy, and building strong stakeholder partnerships across Nordic markets? Then AstraZeneca might be the right place for you!

Our AstraZeneca Nordic Marketing Company employs around 550 people with offices in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo, and Espoo. AstraZeneca Nordic is a recognized leader in its core therapy areas and aims to improve the lives of millions of people. We drive innovative science, deliver key launches, and build close collaboration and partnerships within healthcare.

Introduction to role

We are looking for a Nordic Product Owner CRM & Platform Architect Lead to join our commercial technology team. This is a strategically important and highly visible role, combining hands-on technical expertise with strong business partnering across the Nordic markets.

You will act as the key link between Nordic commercial and medical teams (BBU and OBU) and our global IT functions, ensuring our CRM and digital platforms deliver real business value. A near-term highlight of the role will be leading the migration from Veeva CRM to Salesforce CRM – a critical and transformative programme for the Nordic organisation.

You can be located in any of our Nordic offices, and you are expected to be on-site three days per week.

While the role has no direct reports, you will be expected to guide and coordinate cross-functional teams on project-specific initiatives, acting as a trusted technical leader and mentor.

Key Accountabilities

  • Act as a proactive Nordic business partner, building strong relationships and anticipating business needs across markets.

  • Define and drive the Nordic CRM and platform roadmap, including leading the migration from Veeva CRM to Salesforce CRM.

  • Lead Nordic platform architecture, ensuring scalability and alignment with business goals and global IT standards.

  • Translate commercial and medical requirements into actionable use cases for global delivery teams.

  • Drive user adoption through structured training programs, enablement frameworks, and continuous support.

  • Identify and implement innovative IT solutions – including AI and automation – to address business challenges.

  • Ensure strong governance, compliance, and structured platform lifecycle management.

  • Represent Nordic needs in global forums to ensure local priorities are reflected in global roadmaps.

  • Perform hands-on operational support, including system troubleshooting and service desk coordination.

  • Develop robust business cases to support investment decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of CRM platforms, particularly Veeva CRM and/or Salesforce CRM.

  • Clear understanding of Segmentation & Targeting, Call Planning, Incentive Calculations, Content Publishing (Promomats), SFE Analytics, and platform architecture best practices.

  • Proven experience in business partnering and stakeholder management in a complex matrix organisation.

  • Experience with Scrum and Agile project management methodologies.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Experience working with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams across multiple countries.

  • Ability to work with complex integrated systems and deliver results through creative problem solving.

  • Fluent in English; Nordic language skills are an advantage.

Desirable

  • Degree in a relevant subject or formal certification in business analysis.

  • Pharmaceutical or life sciences domain knowledge.

  • Experience working in a global organisation.

  • Lean Sigma training or equivalent.

  • Practical experience with Agile methodologies.

  • Experience in mentoring, coaching, or developing others.
